Content Management. CleverCat produces HTML pages which closely match its printed pages. You can display these HTML pages in an inline frame on an HTML page or a CD-ROM. There are many programs available for Auto-Launching a CD-ROM and displaying HTML pages recorded there. We provide one that you can download here: Download AutoCat.exe To use AutoCat.exe, you will need an AutoRun.inf file. This is a text file on a CD-ROM which tells your computer which file to start when the CD-ROM is inserted into the drive. The minimum instructions in the inf file are: [AutoRun] open = AutoCat.exe Create your own inf file or download one here: Download autorun.inf You also need to create an HTML file named AutoCat.html This will be your virtual home page on the CD-ROM and may simply be a copy of the Index.html page on your website. AutoCat.exe will search for and automatically open this file, which may contain the Inline Frame for your catalog content or other HTML pages. Create the HTML pages for the CD-ROM the same way you do for web pages. The HTML pages created by CleverCat should be placed in the root folder of the CD-ROM along with AutoRun.inf and AutoCat.exe. Create a subfolder and copy all your photos and image files there. The name of this subfolder is the one you specify on the Configuration form. Before burning the files, you can test your CD-ROM by simply creating a test folder on your hard drive. Copy AutoCat.exe and all the HTML files into this folder and the photos into the appropriate subfolder. Run AutoCat.exe to see how your catalog will load from a CD-ROM.
